Roman78
I was wondering what soundcard wil work on OSX86. Because now i have a new ASUS P5LD2-VM HD but the sound won't work. And whit some tricks i can let it work but only audio out, and no mic or audio in. So i was thinking of a simple sound card. But witch one? Does Soundblaster 128 work, or maybe a Sounblaster Live. What about sweex and yamaha cards? Does someone tested it? Or is it my turn to do this??? (i have some cards here, about 20 different). horst.schlemmer
I've read here in the forums, that the sb 128 will work without any further patching. Maybe you should simply try it out with that card Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19752-what-sound-card-wil-work-osx-1046/#findComment-150519 Share on other sites

horst.schlemmer
Also the Terratec Aureon 5.1 MKII USB will work and also the Soundblaster Live! USB device will work without any further patching (maybe you need the soundblaster usb fix).
