10.5.8 Installation Guide on Asrock 4Core1600Twins-P35

I install successfullly Mac OS x 10.5.8 on the following PC:

Asrock 4Core1600Twins-P35

Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600

Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS

 

STEPS:

First of all flash the BIOS using the 1.43 version avaliable on http://osrom.net/biosmod

Download iDeneb v.1.6 Lite - 1.5.8

Selec the Voodoo, 10.5.8 Qoopz 9.8.0 kenel and the following fix and kext

Chamaleon v2

 

I install the following Kext, all of it are on the iDeneb v1.6 DVD:

AppleAPIC.kext

AppleSMBIOS.kext

IOAHCIFamily.kext

AppleHDA.kext

AppleACPIPlatform.kext

IONetworkingFamily.kext

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

AppleAHCIPort.kext

IO80211Family.kext

AppleHWSensor.kext

 

Im not sure if some of then are not completely necessary, but the installation works well witch it. (any advice are welcome).

 

All seems work great except sleep mode

power off - work

USB- work

videocard: work

sound: work

4 cores - works

RAM are correctly detected.
