PauliKs Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 Hi guys! I have Installed video card ASUS eax1600pro/td/512m/a (PCI-E) based on ATI Radeon X1600 chipset. I need work driver for this card in Leo or Snow Leo? Natit.kext completely turning off the monitor after booting. AtiInject.kext does not work corectly too. Used several drivers for this device ID and manufacture (EAX1600PRO) but all in vain. In the best time my computer loads only with -x -f keys. It works with many artifacts and very bad. However In profiler, in Graphics, it is identified as it should be: Ati Radeon X1600 series Core Image - software Quarz Extreme - not supported In normal mode, the screen does not work. (DVI and VGA simultaneously) LCD and CRT What I do wrong ? Enybody knows how to get work this device ? Sorry for my english, thanx a lot. But it seems the title's been changed to gives steps to install Snow Leopard (10.6), and I was hoping to update, but the post doesn't reflect the changes. Do I mount 10A432 to RETAIL IMAGE partition from my current retail leopard installation, as I did when I installed 10.5?
