Final Cut 6 Not Loading

HI

When I start final cut 6 it hangs at loading FCS engine

Hi I've installed FCS 2 and it all works apart from final cut. I'm using version FC 6.0.4 although it happened with FC 6 as well. No firewall, has internet connection (via USB network card).

Dunno whats going on with it.

 

I do keep getting a repeating firewire error FireWire GUID 0000000000000000 is invalid! Dunno if that could be it.

Tried repairing permissions.

 

OS AMD LawlessPPC 10.5.4

AMD Opteron x4

6 GIG 6400 DDR2 800

HP Motherboard, Nforce NFP3400

Geforce 8400 GS 256 with quarz extreme

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy
