poondoggle Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 Hi Everyone, I have been pulling out my remaining hair for the last 24 hours trying to get this Tascam US-122 working so I can start to do some higher quality voice recording. The UB drivers on Tascam's site wouldn't work for me. I tried installing the USB extensions from 10.4.3 since they seem to fix a lot of issues with sound but no dice. So I thought I would try one last thing. Install the Soundblaster USB driver from the JaS install DVD and then install the Tascam driver. Guess what? It works! So, just make sure you install the Soundblaster USB driver from the JaS release. Make sure your US-122 is unplugged and then install the 4.3.0 Universal Binary driver from Tascam's website. Once it is installed, reboot and then plug it in. I hope this helps someone as I've found a lot of help the last little while searching the forums. This is a great community and people are really nice compared to some of the flamefests you normally see on the 'net.
