mg100796 Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 If you have only been able to boot up in 32 bit mode, using "-x32" flags, then you should definitely look at this. You will simply need to add one file to your root of Snow Leopard. That file is a "boot" file and is attached to this post. Just goto the root of your Snow Leopard volume and rename the current "boot" file "boot2", this way if it doesn't work you can easily fix it. Now move the file you downloaded into the root and restart. I haven't tested it on other system, but I know that it allowed me to get sound from my VoodooHDA kext file in 64 bit mode.
