deesto
I have an onboard Realtek High Definition Audio card that Vista IDs as 'HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_10192801&REV_1000'. From this I get the string '088810ec'. I've tried several AppleHDA.kext plus HDAEnabler.kext/ALCinject.kext combinations, but nothing seems to get the audio working. Am I using the correct kext files to get it going? Incidentally, I was able to modify AppleYukon2.kext and temporarily get my Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller working (with string '435311AB'), but after messing with the audio kexts, this no longer works, and I can't figure out why: Networking shows the Ethernet adapter but just says not connected.
