I am running 10.4.6 on an Intel 945GNTL MoBo.

The problem is only when i plug in the ipod... everything else works fine, card reader, mouse, kyboard, blutooth dongle etc.

sometimes the ipod charges and once or twice it showed up on the desktop after 2-3 minutes but when i opened itunes to sync it and play music from it (using manual sync) itunes just crashed and i wasnt able to browse the pod in finder as well....

any help at all would be appreciated... my mac is perfect except for the ipod issue.. for that i actually have to boot into xp and sync....

i seem to be having some problems, i have my ipod plugged in the back USB, but it doesnt work correctly. the first time i plugged it in, itunes opened and started updating, but then stopped after only like 50 songs. about ten minutes later i get an error saying that the device has become unreadable and cant write to it. so i restart and itunes starts to load, but doesnt even get that far, i only know because of the black arrow under the icon. the only thing i can think of is maybe try using a firewire cable instead of USB. any other suggestions!!!? feel free to email me: gateway4tt@gmail.com
