r5r4y
Hello, I've just finished downloading iDeneb 10.5.8 Lite Version, I've tried to boot the install and it's goes fine than I'm trying to open Disk Utility but it doesn't recognize my SATA Drive at all... I don't have option in BIOS to change the SATA Mode to AHCI... CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 x4 2.6GHZ BE Motherboard: AM2+ MSI K9A2 CF (SB600+790X) Graphic: Readon 4870 512MB Hard disk: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB ST3500320AS although Disk Utility won't recognize my SATA Drive, System Profiler does... any ideas? or some special flag I need to boot the install with? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192531-ideneb-disk-utility-wont-recgonize-sata/ Share on other sites

Thanks! If you have the option to switch to RAID then go ahead and do that to install iDeneb, then when you finish switch it back to IDE and boot.
