deejayy
I'm just wondering if it's safe to install security updates on a distro? I am using iDeneb and i have 'Security Update 2009-005' on the update list... would installing this break my system? is it hit or miss? or is it totally safe. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192435-safe-to-install-security-updates/ Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
Impossible to say without knowing anything about your hardware and software configuration, there are too many variables. To begin with, look up the update on Apple's website and see what's in it. Then download it manually and look at the contents of the installer .pkg with Pacifist (google it).
