So I've installed the most current version of Snow Leopard on my 2.66ghz Unibody Macbook Pro.

Used Bootcamp to create a 40gb partition.

Installed refit (which is the first thing you see when the Macbook Pro boots)

Added a third partition for the /swap partition and created an Extended partition that holds the /root, /swap, /opt & /home partitions.

Booted up the Slackware13 dvd and installed the os.

Restarted and saw refit.

The only option to boot to is osx.

I can see the partitions with the Partitioning Tool installed by refit (i think it's gpysync.efi)

Here's what I get:

Starting gptsync.efi

Current GPT partition table:

# A Start LBA End LBA Type

1 40 409639 EFI System (FAT)

2 409640 898584991 Mac OS X HFS+

3 898848768 976773119 Basic Data

Current MBR partition table:

# A Start LBA End LBA Type

1 1 409639 EE EFI Protective

2 409640 898584991 AF Mac OS X HFS+

3 * 89884992 902788739 83 Linux

4 902788740 976768064 05 Extended (CHS)

Status: Extended partition found in MBR table, will not touch this disk.

Error: Not found returned from gptsync.efi

* Hit any key to continue *

...then I hit a key and it brings me back to the prompt to select the os...and the only one available is OS X.

Help would be appreciated!!

Cheers.
