I have buy a NETGEAR WG311T, because i read in this forum that with the 10.4.5 work pretty well.

In fact yes, i have installed a 10.4.5 and now i write from the OSX system...the netgear wireless card are detected automatically during the installation. :D

Now the Problem: :blink::blink:

If i reboot my hackintosh, the netgear no more work and is impossible to connect. I can see the icon showing the wireless connection in the mac bar, but if i go in system preferences come an "Apple AirPort Error"

Now too, the wireless work very well but if i try to configure it, show an error.

The strange thing is that i, before the reboot, never change nothing to the settings or other things.

So can everyone explain me why after the reboot my card do not recognize correctly?? Pleeeease... :D

Why not do a quick search in the forum to find other threads (must be half a million now) dealing with that problem.

After boot up the airport icon is visible in top bar but is greyed out in Network Prefs

Modify /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist

-en0->en1

-A couple lines down of en0->en1, change 0 to 1 too...

reboot

It should now find the [...] chipset as being a Airport Extreme Card (lots of money saved here :D )
