Hey guys,

Just got my Snow Leopard install finished up...working great, updated to 10.6.1 through software update without a problem.

As a preface, I'd even be game to go out and pick up a new PCI WiFi card if I knew it was going to work in 64 bit Snow Leopard, so if you've got one 100% working out of the box lemme know. This thread proved useless for that information:

Here's my naggin' glitch -- if booting up normally, everything works perfectly minus my DLink DWA 2320 802.11b/g PCI card. Airport menu shows no airport card installed, System Profiler is the same. I tried 'kextload'ing a modified IO80211Family.kext (the actual atheros kext inside its package contents), but it give me a dependency error.

If I boot with arch=i386, the kext loads fine, and I get wifi instantly. HOWEVER, (A) I don't want to run in 32 bit mode if I can avoid it, and (;) my firewire ports stop working entirely in 32 bit mode.

Anyone got any advice?

My specs that matter:

E6600 2.4GHz Core2duo

Asus P5B Plus mobo

6GB DDR2 800

DLINK 2320 802.11b/g PCI card
