I followed the instructions for a few of the guides but keep getting the blank screen with flashing cursor when I try to boot up from USB to install. If you find out what the solution is please let me know if I find out before I will let you know. Thanks. Thanks. hey can you tell me about your laptop specs?? what extra kexts are you using? also what error msgs do you get when you boot into verbose?? nozz93 Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Had that problem, too (if you think of the grey screen with mouse cursor). What I did was installing Snow Leo from my existing Leo install with OSInstall.mpkg. I could boot fine and it's running now.
