itjstagame Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 My video has been working great right from the install, I didn't patch anything, etc. I 'think' I have hardware acceleration because videos have been playing fine. But I tried "Enter Time Machine" and it will not clear and display correctly, it opens one explorer window that's an archive and if I move it around, right-click in it and have something popup over areas of the screen when it redraws I can eventually see the archive date on the bottom and the arrows on the right of the screen to go back or forward through them. But I have no 3D, no magic, no star field, just remnant view of my desktop. I noticed glxgears was installed through the X11 library and I always used that to test my drivers in linux, when I try to run that it errors out instantly. I've seen others mention hacking X1000.kext, when I try this functionality seems the same, I'm guessing it's using this by default already but not sure how to tell what kext are loaded and used by what.
