Rammjet
How about: to boot into single user mode, do "rd=disk0s1 -s" instead of "rd=disk0s1 -v" you can them make modifications to the file system. gwprod12
Well, sure, except that it loads the kext I modified that gives me the kernel panic I have only two options Either mount the drive somehow Or Reinstall. I'd prefer not to reinstall. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19153-quick-question/#findComment-125530 Share on other sites

gwprod12
File Not Found, node not matching mounted device, incorrect superblock of device (or some such) this sucks Fixed it. I booted into Graphical Instal, opened up terminal, used VI to edit my Info.plist I HATE VI. (nano requires vt100... the terminal in graphic install wont allow it to work.) mgoddard
I would have killed to have been able to use vi when I was booting from the install disc to fix things. At least you weren't stuck using ed. Anyway glad you solved your problem. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19153-quick-question/#findComment-125577 Share on other sites
