emongev Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hello guys, ive been reading this forum like crazy before actually daring to do anything, but ive managed to get it, my mac is almost perfect, but, heres the deal: I got everything running to perfection but i updated quicktime and itunes and it worked like a charm, but while itunes was adding my music, it crashed. I tried opening it afterwards to no avail. Itunes was reading (i disabled the copy to the Music folder) my music from an NTFS partition, using NTFS-3G. Whenever i opened itunes i got a message saying it crashed and to relaunch, and relaunch, and relaunch, and so on, I relaunched like a million times and it still didnt work. I also tried opening quicktime (after being updated to 7) and also crashed, the weird thing is iTunes opened great the first time. I currently reinstalled to my "near perfect" state, but i dont know if i should update itunes and quicktime. (Last time i did it using the software updater, maybe if i installed them from the dmgs of the apple website?)
