Wow, I f'd up big time!

I've had my hackintosh running the BOOT132 method since March. I finally got around to adding another hdd so I can use Time Machine (oh the irony to come...)

I had:

1 HDD running OS X

1 HDD running Vista

I just added another hdd to run Win7.

Since Vista uses NTFS and I know OS X uses another format that I can't remember at the moment, I figured I'd need to format the Vista hdd so that I can see it in OS X to format it to the OS X standard. For some reason I popped in a WinXP setup disk and ran the setup with intentions of just formatting the disk. For some reason I also figured that WinXP setup wouldn't pickup the OS X hdd since it is in another format.

Since both drives are the same exact size (OS X and Vista) I (without checking) erased the partition of both disks. As soon as I figured out how bad a thing I had done I shut the machine down without formatting either disk.

I tried to boot into OS X with no success.

So I ask you.... is there any way to salvage this or do I need to start from scratch?

can u boot into windows?

sorry man just read your post again. u can't boot win. to be honest i think new install on both counts if data lost is not life threatening!

Yeah, can't boot to Vista anymore. Data isn't life threatening, but my 120GB music collection that I created is important enough to me to take the time to see if restoring is an option.
