I managed to install windows7 without any greater problems. Here my solution.

I have a running OSX 10.6 with chamelon bootloader on hdd1. In Snow Leopoard format your second HDD as MSDOS-FAT32.

Reboot.

Go into Bios Setup. Switch boot order of your hdds. Save & extit.

Try to boot - if your system cannot boot - you did correct. Put your Windows7 DVD in your drive and restart.

Windows now boots from DVD. Take the advanced install. Select the MSSDOS-FAT32 HDD (BE CAREFUL HERE - DON'T TAKE THE WRONG ONE) and format it with NTFS. Now you can continue your installation of Windows 7. The computer boots several times (i think twice) - do not press a key to boot from DVD, just let him boot from HDD.

When everythings done restart your computer and go into your BIOS. Switch the boot order of your hdds back. Restart.

Chameleon boot loader is started and when pressing F8 you can switch between booting OSX or Windows 7.

Be careful, do not install windows 7 without switching boot ordering in BIOS - your Chameleon boot loader would be destroyed (not OSX, only boot loader)

This way worked like a charm for me but don't take me responsible for any data loss.

Have Fun.
