jojocommi
Hi Guys, So I've been trying to get a hackintosh for awhile now and sadly every attempt is a failure. The LH guide has been the only method that got me to the apple screen. Basically I followed every step and set the BIOS correctly. My flash drive (corsair flash voyager 16GB) is able to boot snow leopard but once I get past the drive to install snow leopard onto, I get a out of range error and have to manually reboot my system. Has anyone gotten this error? Is there a way to fix it? If not, what other ways can I try to install a hackintosh? These are methods I tried or read: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=149505 (too confused on where to start) http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/08/how-to-...-pc-hackintosh/ (phase 2 somewhat fails) http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required (the usb drive is set but get error out of range) My build: i7 920 2.66 oc to 3.00 GIGABYTE-GA-EX58-UD5 Corsair 12GB DDR3 1600 nVidia Geforce GTX 285 512mb Kingwin 1200w PSU 1.5TB Seagate HDD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/189815-lh-guide-on-gigabyte-ga-ex58-ud5-help-monitor-out-of-range/ Share on other sites
