Hi everyone!

First of all, many, MANY thanks to everyone here in these forums. I have learned quite a bit lurking here. However, I guess it's not enough.

Here's what I'm trying to do: Run my Pro Tools HD PCI-X cards on a GA-EP45C-UD3R motherboard in OS X 10.6. The system is up and running 10.6 vanilla, with the Chameleon Bootloader RC2.

Troubleshooting: To narrow down the cause of the problem, I installed Windows Vista SP1, and fired up Pro Tools. All was well, so I know that it's not my PCI card or the motherboard.

I also made a new DSDT.aml, added in a custom IOPCMCIAFamily.kext, and recompiled the Extensions.kext in the /Extra folder, all to no avail.

SPECS: GA-EP45C-UD3R motherboard

4 GBs DDR2 RAM

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 GHz

Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Which version of protools are you trying to run? Has to be Protools 8.0.3pr to work on any mac running SL. If you're trying to run any protools version before this with Leopard then this is probably your problem!
