Sorry if this got covered before, I can't find anything specifically on the issue I am running into.

I setup my hackintosh following the Lifehacker article guide found here: http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...start-to-finish.

All went well but somehow I haven't been able to put the bootloader correctly on the HD and I consistently run into the Kernel Panic message "You need to restart your computer..." so I have to boot through my USB install key which is a pain.

Is there a pointer on a guide on how to fix this and get a working bootloader on the HD?

thanks!

I did that, and I do get the chameleon bootloader screen (chameleon picture at the top), however, when I select my HD I see the apple logo and wheel spinning for a few seconds, then the kernel panic error message.
