mpkFIN
I have old intel iMac and PSU is dead, i have managed to get led glow, and coolers spin, with ATX power but it wont start up. Logic board has pins marked: - pp12v_run - pp3v3_all - pp3v3_run - pp5v5_run - pp5v5_all - 3 x ground - 2 x pp1v2_all - 2 pins to PSU control Biggest problem is pins pp1v2_all, dont know what power should i feed them??? PS. Logic board has 12pin connector, and all wires on mac is black. plugwash
I'd guess you need to feed them 1.2v which is not a standard voltage for an ATX supply. Do you have a bench PSU that you can feed them with for testing (and to figure out how much current is being drawn)?
