Look to probably get a build going sometime in the next few weeks and was curious if anyone has had any success with an i5 build running snow leopard? Trying to keep my costs down but at the same time keep performance up and it seems like the i5 processors deliver on both, so it would be great to get a hackintosh out of it too. thanks.

I've successfully gotten Snow Leopard running on my Core i5 P55UD4p w/GTX 260GTZ. Graphics is working, network adapter is working, but I'm still working on getting my iPhone to be recognized and sound. I also had to use a custom kernel (but it still let me upgrade to 10.6.1 fine).

yes I was able to install SL on my MSI P55-GD80, i5 CPU OC @ 4Ghz, I have a guide on how to install it at www.mbel.tk have a look there and same procedure would work with any p55 mobo.
