need help with macbook, please read

I have a macbook laptop , my laptop screen was broken and i replaced it

and now when i turn it on i see the screen flases and doesn't boot at all, i hear the fan noise and the cd/dvd drive noise comming out(nothing unusual)

so can any body tell me what is exactly happening, thanks in advance.
