macpig
Hi everyone: I'm new to this forum so I apologize if my problem sounds a bit newbie-ish. I have just downloaded and burned the iPC X-DL OSX86 10.5.6 LiveDVD and tried it out on my computer. But both the LiveDVD boot and the installer seem to hang up early in the process at the point where Apple reports that a "15520 Baud UART" has been detected. Any help regarding this would be much appreciated. My computer's specs: Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-CM CPU: Intel Pentium Processor E2200, S-spec: SLA8X, 1MB L2 Cache, 2.20 GHz, FSB 800 MHz RAM: Kingston 2GB PC2 - 5300 CL5 240-Pin DIMM, KVR667D2N5/2G Hard Drive: ST3250310SV ATA Device (250GB SATA HDD) Optical Drive: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10A ATA Device (LG DVD Burner, PATA) Detailed motherboard specs: VGA: Intel GMA 3100 Integrated Northbridge: Intel G31 Southbridge: Intel ICH7 Best regards, macpig Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/187833-osx86-on-asus-p5kpl-cm-and-intel-pentium-e2200/ Share on other sites
