After many attempts, and tons of red bulls, I have finally got OS X 10.5.7 installed on my HP Compaq nc6400. Now I the only thing that I am having a problem with is that when I load up OS X I the the Shut Down Prompt right off, and I cannot get it to go away, I have tried turning of ACPI in the BIOS and that didn't work, I have tried doing it through the OS and that doesn't work, I have tried many other things and I am out of ideas on what to do... I am running OS X via iAtkos v7, if that helps out any. I have been trying other ways but none of them worked out for me so I used something that my one friend suggested to me.

If you have any suggestions please let me know as I would like to be able to use OS X on my computer so that I don't have to use Windows anymore...

Try to start up with -v cpus=1 and see what happens.

How do I do that? Do I got into the Terminal and type that in?

When you are starting up. Stop the countdown and type -v cpus=1 and hit enter.

Hey thanks. I will try that right now and let you know how it works out. Thanks again
