I have a newer machine that I built (wasn't gearing towards a hackintosh at the time) mainly for windows gaming, but decided that since I had OsX running on my last machine I'd like to give it a try again. I havn't really been able to find anything positive - or negative - regarding this MB, and was wondering what my best bet to begin trying to find out / maybe even help out with information on this board if I can. Should I try some of the random images floating around? Buy the SL Upgrade? Or am I just wasting my time and stick to Win / Linux.

Specs are as follows:

Asus M4A79T Deluxe MB, 4GB Ram, AMD 955BE - ATI Vapor-X HD4890 Video card, just using the onboard audio/lan/etc..

MB Specs:

AMD 790FX/SB750

Realtek® 8112 Gigabit LAN controller

Realtek® 1200 8 -Channel High Definition Audio CODEC

I'm willing to give anything a try, just looking for a good place to start and if I'd be wasting my money on SL or not.

I am trying to install Mac OS X 10.6 to an AMD PC. My motherboard is the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe. While the Mac OS X 10.6 DVD is loading (with the help of the latest Empire EFI boot cd), i am getting a message that there is no DSDT found and i am getting a kernel panic. What i must do?

Thank you very much!
