thinkdevoid
I installed nv enabler during the installation process and nvinstaller 4.1 pkg and all looked great until I realized that iatkos shows that I have 2 displays (my real one which is 1600x1000 and a second which is stuck at 800 x 600). Is there any way to remove the 2nd display completely? The problem is that it is 'attached' onto my original display as an extended desktop, so my mouse (and even applications) go out of range. System Profiler -> Graphics Cards GeForce 8500 GT: Chipset Model: GeForce 8500 GT Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0421 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Displays: W2254: Resolution: 1600 x 1000 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported Television: Resolution: 800 x 600 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported Interlaced: Yes Television: Yes The incorrect one that does not belong is the one flagged as television. I do not have any cords other than the DVI that plugs into the monitor (and that is W2254). Now, I downloaded displayconfigx and it detects that each display only has 256mb card support separately... So if anyone has any information on how to fix this, that would be great!!
