xXrkidXx
Ok so I got sick of having to rig my ALC 860 every boot so I decided to go with a Linux dump and patch it, and it failed . Here is my Codec(see atachments), oh and it said it was a ALC 880 dump... and I used AppleHDAPatcherv1.20. what it said was, AppleHDA Patcher - 2006/2007 by Taruga v1.20 * Patching AppleHDA.kext to 0x10ec0880 Done * Checking AppleHDA for patch Done 0001f4a0 cmpl $0x10ec0885,%eax 0001f4a7 cmpl $0x10ec0880,%eax 00020584 cmpl $0x10ec0885,%eax 0002058b cmpl $0x10ec0880,%eax * Checking for SPDIF Out Not Detected * Checking for SPDIF In Not Detected * Using the following nodes in pathmap Back Mic: 7 16 24 Line In : 9 18 26 Speaker : 20 12 2 * Copying new config to destination Done * Repairing Permissions Done * Deleting Extensions Cache Done ** Done patching - You can reboot now ** Oh and I used Backtrack 2 for my dump.
