bmxfreakrider
Hello, I am kinda new to this whole business of having mac on a PC (laptop) . I got the v7 dvd and installed, got the dualboot to work perfect with vista and 10.5, both booted to desktop, so I got the wifi drivers for the mac install, had a small issue with display artifacting (see below, this is where im stuck. its not a hardware issue, possibly software/driver), it went away, then my keyboard and touchpad didn't work. So I got the kext and it asked to restart now this is where I am stuck. I can get to the screen that has the apple logo with the spinning disk right before it hits desktop, then the screen flashes blue, (then its supposed to go to desktop right after) but instead im greeted with a fuzzy/dim screen that slowly fades to white from the bottom left to the top right. It looks like my screen is shattered, but this laptop is in perfect condition (minus my dead battery). I have the intel GM965 / x3100 chipset, I dont know if theres updated drivers for it, if there is then my scouring of google has failed me. Help anyone? blusprite
I guess you can boot with -v -s flags which will bring you to a command prompt, then rename the kext you added right before the problem started to xxxxxxxxx.kext.bak and reboot with -v -f.
