Kismac and networks not showing up problem

Hello all,

 

I have iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6) smoothly running on my Acer Aspire One. I tried a lot of IO80211Family.kext floating around, actually I'm using one labeled as 2.1.2.

 

I have been reading around (for more than a week...) and I cant seem to find a solution to this problem, in fact, I dont know if there is any.

When I boot my iDeneb and start scanning with Kismac, I barely have luck making it showing the networks, as I readen on other post, chances that networks shows up are very poor, maybe I need to reboot like 10 times to make it happen.

But I can tell that when it works, it goes like a charm for me, better speed than windows and very stable.

 

I just want to know if there is any procedure to make it work with some guarantee of success, if anyone can share some information, I'm sure lots of Aspire One (and maybe others...) users will apreciate.
