Should my PCI slots be recognized?

I am not certain by reading posts here that it is at all possible to have OSX 10.4.6 recognize my PCI slots.

I have an Echo Mia sound card to be identified if possible but the PCI slots are not even showing on my sys.

 

Anyone confirm if this is even possible?

Is this a grey area and no one really knows or is this a really simple question

but whether the devices u stuck ont her slots will be detected,,, whether thet have drivers

So if the answer "i yes they will"...can any one enlighten me as to how I can encourage OSX to see the PCI slots....then I at least I can try the Mac OSX 10.4.6 drivers provided by Echo audio? Anyone?

I have a mia midi card too but the Echo audio driver doesn't work
