Got it working with SL, so if someone need's help. You can ask here, and i try to help if i can (i'm totaly noob with mac's).

 

boot parameters: -x32 -v

(-v not need, but i like to see what's happening.)

 

Not working:

- sleep is not working

- sound working only with VoodooHDA, and only stereo from front jacks.

- can't use com.apple.boot.plist at EFI partition (waiting for root device, if you put boot-uuid= there)

can you break down exactly how you installed? i have the same motherboard and would love to know - but i'm even more of a n00b.

First you need to download ideneb/iatkos or such bootable dvd, and install leopard from it. You can find howto install ideneb to other EX58 motherboards, you can follow those, because everything dont need to work (sound etc) it's enough if it boots to leopard.

Then you need retail snowleopard dvd or iso-image, and install snowleopard to another disk from leopard. Then you need to install chameleon RC3, and then you need to put those kext's what I mentioned above post to the snowleopard install. Not going to write whole guides, because I thing everyone can get system to boot up with those guides what it's allready written to forum. And my english is not so good, so nobody will not understand my guides. So just helping you to get choose right kext's to your system.
