Hi all,

New here. I've serched the forums, but am having trouble finding an answer to my issue. I installed Kalyway 10.5.5 on my Dell Latitude D810. I selected custom options and the install completed. My issue is that I get to the Leopard startup Apple and it sits there thinking and reboots. This process is a continual loop.

Does anyone know why this is happening of can maybe suggest what I need to do right? My specs are:

ATI Radeon X600

Broadcom 570X - wired

Intel 220 - wireless

Sigmatel STAC 975X AC97

I look forward to your replies

try this:

when darwin is booting, boot in single user mode

> -s (enter single user mode)

> /sbin/fsck -fy this need if you reset your comp on registration steps

> /sbin/mount -uw / mountig all devices

> /passwd root to make the root password

> touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone finishing registration assistant

> reboot

i assume you have the m processor in there? it only has sse2 which is not really enough to run osx smoothly... and the x600 can give you trouble as well... i would really consider using osx on such a system. i didn't have a lot of fun with osx on my old inspiron 6000...

Thanks - I may just reconsider putting it on the D810 based on your info.
