Konner Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 alright. this has to be the best one i have tried that actually works right in some ways. but heres what grinds my gears. Im using a AMD processor and apparently the voodoo kernel is the best one out there I have so many panics with it. and everytime i try changing kernels it stays with Voodoo 9.7.0 Such as Wrath of the lich king installer: After hitting 21% it panics Microsoft Messenger: Trying to send a file or picture. After you click send and the file/picture it panics. i have been doing OSx86 for a couple years. i got a new computer and this is the first time i have tried it on this one. My specs MSI K9A2VM-FD Motherboard AMD SB700 chipset ALC888 HDA AMD Athlon X2 4200+ 4 GB DDR2 RAM. installation went smooth. I fixed a few problems such as Sound. that was my main problem and then my DVD rom not being found. well i fixed all of it except one small issue Kernel Panics with certain programs Ill edit this post with pictures of the panics so you guys here at InsanelyMac can see my difficulties i am having thank you for your time.
