neods
Hi, I've been fidelling around with snow leopard on a LG P-310 Tarsia and I got most things working except for the wireless and the soundcard which is a Realtek ALC262. I've tried all possible solutions featured on the forums and voodooHDA also but none have worked. Has anybody been able to get it to work on Snow Leopard? Here's some info on the card on the machine. neods
Hi again, I was able to fix this on my own. VoodooHDA 64bit worked in the end, but the trick was to delete the AppleHDA from the Extensions folder before installing the VoodooHDA kext. Greatness. blumi_0815
I have the same great Notebook, a P-310 Tarsia, but so far failed to install OS X. I have to admit that I just started to try a few days ago (since a friend got a MacBook), so I'm a really inexperienced beginner... Could you please tell me more about what you did (and perhaps how? As I said, I'm a beginner who failed so far)? Did you install the "original" retail SL on your Notebook? Is it possible to use the P310's EFI? Which tutorial did you follow (if any)? Thank you! ninjafury
I also have a P310 Tarsia. Such an awesome notebook. I have sidux (linux) and XP installed with grub as a bootloader. How do I install Snow leopard and boot all the OS's. Can I use grub as the bootloader or would Chameleon be needed? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183303-alc262-driver-on-sl-64bit/#findComment-1311160 Share on other sites

Opinion2010
Hello, guys!! I´ve installed almost succesfully Snow Leopard in this laptop using iAtkos S3 V2. I only have these problems: - Not WiFi: you can use an USB WiFi adapter or wait for kext for our adapter (maybe this month) - Not mic (I don´t know how to solve this) And finally one problem that I can´t solve: when you install this iAtkos S3, you don´t have USB 2.0 (you have USB 1.1), but you can use "Sleep mode"; but if you install IOUSBFamily kext, then you´ll have USB 2.0 but you can´t use "sleep mode". Anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks and best regards!
