Lt. Xenodite
NTFS-3g is CONSTANTLY pulling a read of ~10-15MBps to my NTFS partitions. When I unmount them, the disk activity stops. It's getting rather annoying when all I hear is the drive heads whipping back and forth all day and night. Spotlight indexing is turned off on the NTFS partitions. Any ideas? Thanks. Edit: I'm not accessing those partitions frequently, either. And the ntfs-3g process is using around 13% CPU. Beerkex'd
Try disabling sleep for hard drives in the energy saver settings. Beerkex'd
Try updating MacFuse (if you already have the latest, try a beta version) or try Paragon NTFS. It's not free though.
