gustavl
Hey guys, I am new here, so bear with me a little bit. I recently set-up a iAtkos system on my Dell XPS m1530 laptop, and after a lot of reinstalls I finally reached a working system, (though I had to use a USB wireless adaptor, since there are no drivers for my Intel 4965agn card yet) and I am very happy with y system. The only problem is I recently tried to get the battery meter to work, and actually did so by installing the "AppleACPI" from the installing CD. As I said, this did work, and I was a happy bunny. Then, in my utter stupidity, because my wireless suddenly wasn't working, I decided to install the "Old ACPI" drivers from the CD, because I thought (somehow) that might fix it. The only thing it did was mess up my battery meter, which now is not showing... Great. Turns out it was just my ISP who was down for 15 mins, nothing was wrong with the wireless. So now I feel like an idiot. Is there any way I can "clean-up" the kexts which were installed with the Old ACPI install? Maybe a tool which can remove unused kexts? Or a method of manually deleting the ones I don't need? Any help is appreciated!!
