CuriousMac
I have a TC1100 with 10.5.7 and it mostly works, one issue of need is the USB pointer stick, it stops working after a certain amount of use, no matter how long you wait. You can boot and let the system sit for 3 hours, use the pointer for 30 seconds and it stops. Or you can do it right at boot, and it stops. You get about 30 seconds out of it, thats it. This is the USB hardware as reported by lspci 00:1d.0 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) USB UHCI Controller #1 [8086:24c2] (rev 01) 00:1d.1 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) USB UHCI Controller #2 [8086:24c4] (rev 01) 00:1d.2 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) USB UHCI Controller #3 [8086:24c7] (rev 01) 00:1d.7 USB Controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-M) USB2 EHCI Controller [8086:24cd] (rev 01) This is the USB Keyboard + Mouse from the Profiler USB K/B+Mouse: Product ID: 0x080a Vendor ID: 0x05af Version: 4.20 Speed: Up to 1.5 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Jing-Mold Location ID: 0x1d200000 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured) The keyboard works fine throughout. It feels to me like perhaps it's overflowing some buffer and getting knocked off line. Nothing in the console log either. Any hints on where to start? CuriousMac
Interesting revelation, that it appears to come back at random too. Some time passes and it just works again for a shorter time. I'm going to see if USB Prober reveals anything.
