atntextc Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 Hello all, I'm trying to install Leopard on my new HP DV7, Intel Quad-Core Processor Centrino 64 Bit 6GB DDR2 RAM Mother board manufacturer= Quanta Model=3624 Chipset=Intel PM45 Rev 07 Southbridge=Intel 82801M (ICH9-M) BIOS=HP Version F.24 Graphics= ATI Radeon HD 4650 I have tried Kalyway 10.5.2 IPC Leopard 10.5.6 and Itkalis v7 All of them error out before the install screen mostly on this line "Darwin Kernel 9.5.0 Saturday December 6th Voodoo Release 1.0 xnu-1228.7.5.8/build//I386 The kalway one errored out on "localhost Directory Service [53] Launched Version 5.2 (v4.14.4) This is really starting to bug me. Can anyone shed some more light as to what iso I can try or something to point me in the right direction? First sort out your BIOS settings......such as Set SATA as "AHCI" or Serial-ATA Configuration [Enabled] depending on BIOS SATA options Execute Disable Bit [Enabled] ACPI APIC Support [Enabled] ACPI Suspend Mode [s3] or [s1] or [s1 and S3] Boot install DVD with -v and post screen images of any kernel panics showing up on frozen boot up screen.... atntextc Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 I managed to get iDeneb 10.5.7 to get to the installer but it won't recognize the hard drives in the machine any ideas?
