yeeeev
Hi, I'm a real newbee when it comes to osX86. Therefore I followed the instructions on: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114834 I have tried to install the original project iso (BOOT_KABYL_BUMBY). Then I realized I need to add KEXTs, so I downloaded the G33 KEXTs (should match my motherboard). Then I tried to follow the instructions to add the KEXTs to the iso from: 1- Galaxy's slimbuilt: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=129834 2- SuperHai method: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry803725 However, both assume I have a MacOSX to begin with... I'm trying to create the ISO from an Ubuntu. Any advice? Any way to get a Linux port of hdiutil? Thanks! yeeeev
A link to any specification describing the initrd.img file format will also be highly appreciated. If there isn't a current way to open initrd.img in Linux, I could make one...
