sev1972
Hi all. I've had a try at installing Leopard on my motherboard with no real success. I tried the modified bios and the appropriate Boot 123 with my retail disc but to no avail. So, I then realised, I have a retail disc of 10.4 which I bought a few years ago before I got rid of my iMac. So I'd like to ask for your advice and help in installing a copy of 10.4 onto this board, and and what pitfalls i might expect. Hopefully if I can do this, then I can format my second HD to accept a leopard install from within 10.4 I'm only using actual apple retail DVD's rather than Distro's etc. System specs are as follows: P5Q Deluxe motherboard 8GB DDR2 Nvidia Quadro 4500 (modded for X thanks to Aqua mac) Sata DVD RW drive 2x SATA 300gb hard drives. Bios set to default settings apart from AHCI enabled on drive settings. Many thanks in advance.
