Starbuckpga
Evening everyone. Just a quick question, tried to search, but found nothing. This is a long shot, but does anyone know if it's possible to buy Mac Pro case, an empty one? Would love to get my hands on one to build a system. Did not know if this was possible or not. Thanks! Zaap
Check ebay. I know you can find a few floating around on there. They're generally not cheap though. If you can settle for it, look for a G5 case. Those look just about as good as the newer MacPro cases, (only one drive bay though), but they're generally a LOT cheaper. I have two G5 cases I rescued from work, along with a working dual G5. One of these days when I get around to it, I'm going to gut/mod the cases and install them as Hackintoshes- but it's a good bit of work. For one thing, I know people generally cut up the rear and add an aluminum mobo tray (like a Lian Li, for example) to kill the case riser/rear port problems with one easy solution. If you search, you can find a lot of projects people have done. To do one right, there's definitely a lot of modding involved.
