Can't Get Iatkos v7 Installed Correctly (Virtually Every Problem Imaginable)

Hey guys, I've been working at this for 2 days and I've got as far as the welcome screen, but when that was over, I didn't have my keyboard drivers installed..... I can't believe I forgot, I'm kicking myself so hard. I really don't know what exactly to pick in customize. My specs are an intel q6600, Foxconn motherboard, OCZ DDR2 800 1gb, zotac 8800gts 512mb, ps/2 keyboard and mouse, and IDE hard drive and DVDRW. I have honestly tried every combonation of "customize" options. I'm currently trying a complete basic install with nothing but what comes standard, the network drivers, and the mouse/keyboard drivers. I've done it with everything installed, that was stupid. I've gone through with a fine tooth comb and made sure that everything was right. Still nothing. I can't get back to the welcome screen for the life of me, and I have a bad feeling that as soon as I do I'm going to get the keyboard error again. I have gotten the hang at the apple logo with no pinwheel, with the pinwheel, and with the no acces/no smoking circle cross thing. I have gotten the "you need to restart your computer" error. And I have gotten the "still waiting for root device" error in verbose mode. I am honestly going to pull my hair out. I have installed and reinstalled at least 12 times. I have tried all types of formatting with the disk utility (journaled, non journaled, case-sensitive, case-sensitive journaled). Nothing wants to work, and I just can't understand why. If somebody could look at my specs and tell me exactly what I should select in the "customize" menu, I think it would be pretty safe to say that I would love you. I have tried everything (cpus=1, -v, -x, -s). Just nothing works. Please help ;)

You need to post your actual MOBO model and chipset (i.e. Northbridge but particularly Southbridge)......CPU-Z gives this information....also you need to set up your BIOS correctly for OS X.....

Foxconn P9657AB-8EKRS2H

Chipsets North Bridge Intel P965 Express South Bridge Intel ICH8R

I have tried to set up my bios correctly, but im not sure exactly what to enable/disable.

Your chipset should be no issue then.....

In BIOS check for

SATA as "AHCI" or Serial-ATA Configuration [Enabled]

Execute Disable Bit [Enabled]

ACPI APIC Support [Enabled]

ACPI Suspend Mode [s3] or [s1] or [s1 and S3]

Initially install without a video, network and audio driver.......these can be installed after you have the basic OS X system running........so in Customize just choose a kernel, chipset and any required fixes/patches......check forum for your OS X distro with P965 Express/ICH8R chipset posts......or if you have OS X Retail DVD, you can go the Boot-132 route......

USB keyboard and USB mouse are recommended......also IDE DVDRW set as Master and IDE HDD as Slave.....

which mouse/keyboard driver would you reccommend?

Any branded devices should do but try to get Mac compatible devices......

OK, so I installed again with the "customize" options at default, just with the 9.7 kernel selected. Im still getting the apple logo hang with the perpetual pinwheel and the "no access" sign above it. Along with the "still waiting for root device" error in verbose. I'm currently trying to install it on my secondary sata hard drive.....
