My PC : AMD Athlon 64 4000+ ; 2GB of RAM , nVidia GeForce 7300 GS, SSE2 & SSE3, ASUS A8V-VM SE. Thank you! PS: Sorry for my bad english : I'm french. Mafiamueller
ok im getting a similar kernel panic except mine is as soon as it boots and the apple logo appears it freeks out soo what im thinking is it has to do with my del llatitude D830 having the core 2 duo, but i tried different flags like -v cpus=2 and -v my system specs are the normal for the dell latitude D830 nothing special one other thing is i had 10.5.5 iatkos installed and i burned iPC 10.5.6 and ran the install mac osx off the ipc dvd , rebooted and its reporting as 10.5.6 but now my keyboard doesn't work again but that is because of the ioapcifamily kext wich is easy to fix just plug in my usb keyboard until i replace the kext files. the only real issue is im not sure what the Password is now it changed it and didnt tell me what it is so if anyone knows let me know lol thank in advance!!! and i cant install 10.5.6 as a fresh install because of this kernel panic at boot so anything on the default password or this kernel panic would be much appreciated! thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180152-ipc-1056-kernel-panic-on-dvd-boot/#findComment-1227612 Share on other sites
