Problem Installing OS X 10.4.6

I am having a problem installing 10.4.6 on my amd turion 64 laptop. The error it is giving me is "Still Waiting for root device" and it just loops that while in verbose mode when not in verbose mode it just gives me the apple screen with an icon of a circle with a line through it placed on top of the apple. By the way i am using the hotiso version of the iso.

i think i fixed it by appling the JAS ppf patch

 

Yep that JAS PPF patch definately fixed my iso, it is installng now thanks for the help guys.

I have same problem and my hdd is ide and primary master but The error it is giving me is "Still Waiting for root device" and it just loops that while in verbose mode. I have mac os x 10.4.6 when I try install with VMware workstation,I can install mac os to my computer but when I want to open mac osx I give same error.If I open mac osx with wmware workstation,it open properly.How can I open mac osx without VMware? Please help me.
