Casey M
I'm having problems with the display settings. I have an nvidia 9500gt. I used osx86tools to put in my nvcap and everything, and i have everything working except when i change the resolution the screen goes blue and i have to restart my computer using my power button. When i come back it'll show the resolution i chose, so to get back i have to change it to the default one let it turn blue then use the power button to reboot. This isn't very ideal when i want to play games. I've posted in the thread made for my card but nobody ever answers in it. Also I've tried using a dvi to vga adapter but didnt fix anything, oddly though i can flip the display, just cant change the resolution. Any fix for this would be amazing (: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179948-cant-change-resolution/ Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
Try connecting the monitor to the other output on your video card. If you have a TV connected, unplug it. If that doesn't work, then try NVEnabler.kext or ATY_init.kext (google them) instead of whatever injection method you are using now.
