Hi,

i`m a newbie to MAC,HACKINTOSH. I`m good with Linux and windows installations. And if some one, who can help me more , i would be able to use MAC, Hackintosh also.

I`m using Intel DGFB33 Motherboard with quad core processor and 2gb RAM with 250gb hardisk. I have three partitions on hard disk. Two Ntfs and one unpartitioned, which i use normally for Linux whenever needed and now, that unpartioned disc is free with 20gb space.

I have downloaded Leopard 10.5.6 already and also 10.5.7 as well. I have both the DVD`s, perfectly burnt.After reading the forum discussions, i did some adjustments, as specified in threads, in my bios settings. I tried to boot the dvd ,the dvd boots , identifies the processors, initializes the MAC framework and thats it, it stops, no further progress.

I`m not sure what the problem is. Both the discs fails so, now, i`m downloading ideneb also and gonna try it.

Please can some one who have tried , help me with clear instructions???? i do need a good OSX on my system without losing my other two ntfs drives.

I can follow the instructions given in the forum threads , but i`m confused with the version and other stuffs. The major problem is both the discs i have stops after booting and identifying the processor types and initializing the mac framework.

Pl, help me.
