xomp Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 I've purchased a Logitech QuickCam Chat webcam last week. It runs like a hammered turd in OS X (10.5.8). I'm using the macam drivers and the camera works at a BLAZING 2.1 fps in the macam application. Photo Booth doesn't work. iChat doesn't work. The ioexperts driver reports no device (thought this driver was to be the BOMB for USB webcams?) Any hoot, I have pasted the System Profiler info below about this camera. If you have any suggestions to get this thing working above 2.1 fps or working in Photo Booth & iChat I'd be forever grateful. Product ID: 0x08af Vendor ID: 0x046d (Logitech Inc.)
